Product updates (latest versions)

Audio Conversion Engine Lite - version 4.06
This version now includes the ability to use multiple conversion profiles. A conversion profile consists of a source folder, conversion type, DSP configurations and destination folder.

It is also possible to use the Multi-Encoder codec in the new version, allowing multiple conversions of the same source file to be done simultaneously.

These are two great improvements which make this universal tool even more flexible!

Audio Conversion Engine Lite is a stand-alone audio converter built on the rock-solid dBpoweramp platform (with over 20 million users worldwide) and can be used in situations where a connection to a Dalet system is not required.


SQL Reporter - version 1.11
SQL Reporter now has printing functionality. There is also a print preview window, which displays how the pages will be printed.

SQL Reporter is a simple reports generator designed for use with almost any database server. Pre-set SQL queries can be setup and the results displayed to the user. This application is particularly useful for situations where non-technical users need to run SQL queries, but have no in-depth knowledge of the SQL language or technically complicated query analyser software.


PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT

Browser32 & dBpoweramp

Many of our customers use Browser32 to access audio items in their Dalet systems. By installing dBpoweramp reference version and the Audio CD writer, it is possible to convert Dalet audio items to many different formats (e.g. Wave, MP3, Ogg, FLAC and many more), with normalization or other DSP effects. The Audio CD Writer codec (part of the "reference" licence) allows audio CD's to be compiled and burned, easily, with just a couple of mouse clicks.

COMING SOON

New dBpoweramp DSP effect codecs

Two new DSP effect codecs are currently being tested and will be released soon.

The first DSP allows an extra audio file (e.g. a radio station ident or commercial) to be added to the start and/or end of the converted audio files. The second DSP writes a metadata file next to the converted audio file, this can be written in virtually any format through the use of XSLT transformation files.

The DSP's are primarily designed for use by companies that create Podcasts or other web downloads and can be used independently of each other.

Both DSP's can be used with dBpoweramp, Browser32 and Audio Conversion Engine Lite.

More details will be available via this newsletter when the DSP's are released.
